The stories we tell transform us - as individuals and as communities - so my work as a director, actor, writer and artistic leader, is always pushing for dynamic transformation. This is the core of my work as an actor, a director and a leader. From 2015to 2022 led Shakespeare in Clark Park, where my commitment to Radical Community Engagement centered the people of our city as performers and creators: challenging assumptions about classical work and what constitutes “excellence.” When I can, I am pushing theater into new spaces and new forms that illuminate our humanity and ignite empathy.
